Oil return bends and oil storage bends are key auxiliary structures of cold storage refrigeration pipelines. The rationality of their setting is directly related to the normal operation of the refrigeration system. Improper setting will become a core hidden danger for unit operation, affecting system stability and equipment service life.
The core function of oil return bends and oil storage bends is to recover the lubricating oil in the refrigerant, avoid the accumulation of lubricating oil in pipelines or equipment, and ensure the lubrication and heat dissipation of core components such as compressors. Unreasonable setting (such as angle deviation, improper spacing, wrong installation position) will prevent the smooth return of lubricating oil, cause oil shortage and wear of the compressor, and even lead to faults such as cylinder sticking and burnout.
At the same time, unreasonable setting will also increase pipeline resistance, lead to unsmooth refrigerant circulation, reduce refrigeration efficiency, increase energy consumption; it may also cause oil blockage in the pipeline, affect heat exchange effect, accelerate pipeline aging, and increase maintenance costs.
Such hidden dangers are easy to be ignored. It is necessary to standardize the installation angle, spacing and position of oil return bends and oil storage bends in strict accordance with the parameters of the refrigeration system, regularly check their integrity, avoid chain faults caused by improper setting, and ensure the efficient and stable operation of the cold storage refrigeration system.
